Dr. Steve Compton
Dr. Steve Compton has been in practice in Franklin since 1978. He graduated from Franklin-Simpson High School in 1972, attended Western Kentucky University, and Southern College of Optometry where he graduated in 1978. Since beginning practice, Dr. Compton has been very involved in community services. He has served as the president of the Chamber of Commerce and the Franklin Lions Club. He has served on various boards and is currently serving as the Vice-Chairman of the Franklin-Simpson Industrial Authority. Dr. Compton is also a Past-President of the Kentucky Optometric Association. He and his wife Jane have three children and five grandchildren. He enjoys practicing full scope Optometry and looks forward to many more years in practice.

Dana Gregory, CPOA
Dana has been with the practice since 1990 and is well trained in all aspects of patient care. She is a Certified Paraoptemtric Assistant and will be available to meet all of your eyecare needs. Dana received her credentials in 2001. She and her husband Jeff have one son and one grandson that they love spending time with when not at work. Teresa Carter, CPOA
Teresa is a native of Simpson County and has been with us since 1995. She is a technical assistant and a Certified Paraoptometric. She primarily assists with patient care and is quite competent in performing all ancillary testing. Teresa is also very well trained to preform contact lens evaluations, glaucoma care,and Lasik evaluations. When not at work she loves spending time with her husband Craig and her son. Vicky Harrell, CPC
Vicky is our insurance billing and coding expert. She is a Certified Professional Coder(CPC) and will be able to answer all of your insurance and billing questions. Mandy Brown
Mandy is from Morehead, Kentucky but now calls Franklin her home. She is a graduate of Morehead State University with a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotions and Athletic Training. Mandy is currently our frame stylist in the optical boutique. She will be able to answer any of your questions regarding insurance coverage and is certain to make your visit an outstanding experience! Peggy Johnson
Peggy is originally from Louisville, Kentucky, but has called Simpson County her home for several years. She is a graduate of Western Kentucky University with a Bachelors in Mass Communications/Business. Peggy will greet you at our front reception desk and on the phone with a smile. She will gladly schedule your appointments and answer any questions you may have. When she is not working she enjoys spending time with both of her children.
